Training your work force really can benefit your business.

Motivate your workforce and increase employee retention with up-to-date training

Impact Training

We can help you create training plans through an extensive Training Needs Analysis or help you achieve your requirements by delivering the training you have already identified.

Whichever way you choose to use our services, we will ensure through effective evaluation and delegate feedback that the goals and objectives are achieved.

Training is normally delivered to a maximum number of 10 people typically on the Client's premises.

Contact Us to discuss your individual training needs and requirements. An informal discussion will allow both parties to discover whether a tailored solution can be provided.

Food Safety

We offer a complete range of food safety and hazard analysis critical control points (HACCP) courses. All courses are recognised by two main awarding bodies, which are the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) & Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH).

Food handlers must receive appropriate supervision, and be instructed and trained in food hygiene, to enable them to handle food safely. Those responsible for developing and maintaining the business's food safety procedures, based on HACCP principles, must have received adequate training.

Nutrition

Customers have become increasingly aware of the effects of a poor diet and businesses are keen to understand the links between diet and health to meet the changing customer demands.

The new Level 2 Award in Healthier Foods and Special Diets qualification gives catering staff all the information and advice they need to prepare nutritious food, develop healthy recipes and to respond to customer concerns and questions.

Licensing

Under the Licensing Act 2003, there is a legal requirement for anyone selling alcohol, or authorising others to sell alcohol, to obtain a qualification that has the accreditation of the Secretary of State.

We offer the one day National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders Qualification. It is the market leader and the Industry's choice.

Customer Excellence

Organisations and small businesses recognise that customer care is the key to a successful and profitable business. Often, staff are unaware that they are failing to deliver the required standard. The concept of 'Customer Care' is one that is often used without being implemented properly. If your business lives up to these claims, you will create better customer relationships, a smoother, efficient and therefore a more profitable operation.

To achieve this, Impact Learning & Development will work with you to define your objectives, the topics that need to be covered, and which improvements will be the most effective.

Management Development

Management Development is described as the process from which managers learn and improve their skills, not only to benefit themselves but also their companies. Managing the process and workload is just not enough. Managers need to have the skills to motivate their teams, manage change effectively, deal with difficult people, manage performance and have the ability to coach and develop their staff - the list goes on!

Giving managers the right tools and required training is essential for developing your business to the level you wish. It is easy to overlook how vital a role the manager plays within your business and forget about them when it comes to their development.

First Aid at Work and
Emergency First Aid at Work Courses

Following a review of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, the HSE have introduced changes to the qualifications available and the way in which First Aid in the Workplace should be approached.

It is an employer's responsibility to ensure they have sufficient qualified First Aiders to fulfill their First Aid needs at all times. It is also the employer's responsibility to decide what those First Aid needs are.

In line with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, employers must ensure that first aid provision is 'adequate and appropriate in the circumstances'.
